Well, somehow we have 4 pets, 3 kitties and a dog. We only actually own one cat; we named her feo the really old feral cat that lived at our former rental. She is no longer feral and is the sweetest cat ever. It feels good to give that old girl a nice life in her senior years.

The other 3 animals we Co-parent with their real owners. So it’s a win-win. If Blake decides to leave in a year (we all know he has been known to do that) they all go back to live at their original homes; for now they come and go. Blake and I have been living for the last 2 months at our neighbor Alex's house while he is away in Portland visiting his family. We are pet-sitting the pets we now Co-own. They are sweet and we like them. Lucy, the dog and I have really bonded. She goes everywhere with me and never lets me out of her sight. She is fun, sweet and loyal. She is a really well behaved dog too, All 70 pounds of her!  Here are some new pictures.

Feo was in captivity while our rental was tented for termites. We had to drug her so we could get her in the kitty box to take to Alex's house. After that she was a different cat. We could pet her and pick her up.

Look Blake I got you a bird! Momma Kitty really loves Blake.

House update

 Deborah Writes:
Well….. I have not written a blog since October. Blake says he has given up for now with Blogging. He is working his BUNS off building our home and it is beautiful. This is the most hands-on he has been with any home we have built before. He is the project manager, and hands on daily with many carpentry jobs.
Meanwhile, I just keep our daily life running with my wifely duties. I also am busy building my business and making new friends.

Blake’s brother Todd was here in December. It was so nice to see him. We were both delighted. Todd took a week off from work to help Blake with the house that was so kind and generous. Thanks to Todd, Blake and he were able to get our shingles done. That was a huge task, but they both had fun. Since Todd was here we did some vacation stuff. We went to out to dinner twice, to the beach and to our little local golf course. The last time we went to the beach and golf was in May when Todd and Katherine were here on vacation. It takes company for us to find time for the beach. Go figure! Mostly we go to Home Depot, Lowes and Costco. LOL

As far as the house, the drywall guy will be finished tomorrow; that part of the project took longer than we thought so we are a bit delayed. The tile guy will start on Friday. There will be tile on the bathroom floors, the guest shower and the master bath and shower. We will also have tile on the kitchen floor and back-splash. Our home is going to have a vintage charm feel, think old style Hawaii plantation meets 1940’s Cape Cod; with a splash of modern in some of the furniture pieces.

Next Blake can paint the walls, and then install the wood floors. Hopefully he will allow me to help a bit when I can. When we finish that, the kitchen goes in, the bathrooms get installed, the electrical finished and lots of small details left. Not to mention decks and more work on the exterior. I will stop here and insert pictures, they speak 1000 words.
